My teaching philosophy is simple. I individually tailor each voice lesson to fit the unique abilities and goals of every student. As a teacher, it is my duty not only to showcase each student's existing strengths and talents, but to challenge them to discover new potential for learning and growth.

About Me
Years of Experience and Proven Results
I have studied voice for more than 20 years and have maintained my own private voice studio since 2007. I have experience working with children and adults of all ages across all levels of experience and in a diverse number of musical styles.
I hold a Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Temple University’s Esther Boyer School of Music and a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. In addition to performing and teaching, I am the Executive Coordinator of The Voice Foundation, a non-profit organization whose mission focuses on advancing understanding of the voice through interdisciplinary research & education.
Pricing and Policies
One-on-One Lessons Customized to Fit Your Needs
I offer 60 minute lessons, ideally on either a weekly or biweekly basis. A typical lesson will start with a warm-up session at the beginning, consisting of technical vocal and breathing exercises tailored specifically for each individual student. The rest of the lesson time is used learning and perfecting songs and other repertoire.
I also offer drop-in lessons that focus on audition prep. Are you or your child getting ready for an upcoming audition? Whether it's for the school choir or your local community theater, we will focus on strategies that will help you ace your audition!
Price per one hour lesson: $85
I accept payment by cash or credit card.
Customized Lessons to Fit Your Needs
Payment for each lesson must be provided on the day of the scheduled lesson. Student will not be able to schedule another lesson until payment is up to date.
Notice of cancellation must be given 24 hours before the missed lesson. Any lesson cancelled with less that 24 hour notice is non-refundable. In the case of illness, a student may cancel at any time and the lesson will be rescheduled.
If the teacher cancels the lesson for any reason, the lesson will always be rescheduled.
For students arriving late, the lesson fee must still be paid in full. The teacher is not required to make up the time that was missed.
